Jewelry is expensive. It requires a lot of effort to make even a small piece like a ring. But even with all the hardship, you'll still get satisfaction feelings after you finish one piece. At least that's what I'm thinking about people who are working on the jewelry field. They find peace in making it cause they knew the results are going to be great! I respect them in a way that someone willing to make a tiny piece that takes lots of their time. That is one of the reasons why I join this exed. Also to finish the art requirements as soon as possible.

Also, I'm really grateful for this school. I've never actually thought about it, but when I was writing this reflection portfolio, I looked back and realized that this school has been giving tons of opportunities for students to grow and build new skills that they never had before. Such a big area of opportunity starting from art, music, speech, entrepreneur, community service, and others. Thank you UWC USA

It goes the same as this exed. I was just amazed by how this school provides all the tools, materials, and also the expert that can help us. In this exed, I learned how to be patient, how to be creative and how to keep consistent in doing something. The way this exed worked is at first we made the same kind of simple ring together. Then the next project is up to us. So you draw a design or show a picture of jewelry that you want to make and then show it to Tito (the expert) and then he will guide you on how to do it.

For this semester, I got to finished 3 projects. My first project is a necklace. It's just a simple one, so I just need to make the pendant and put it as a necklace. It's actually inspired by my all-time favorite k-drama called 'Pinocchio'. Mine was made from copper. It was actually a good idea to start with a simple project, So it only took like 2 - 3 weeks (we're meeting once a week). This is the photo [PHOTO]

After my first project, I was inspired by one of my friends. She's making jewelry for her family to give it as a Christmas present. So I'm planning on making 4 rings for me, my sisters, and my mom. The process of making this takes much more longer than I expected. It takes around 5 - 6 weeks till I finally finished all of the 4 rings. It's also more complicated. I used full silver this time and the design itself kinda hard, so I have to ask Tito for help. But after all the struggle, the final product looks amazing! it may not be perfect but it looks like a professional. Even though throughout the process I was kinda tired and frustrated because it takes so long, but I managed it! Here are the rings [PHOTO]

And my last project is another pendant for my best friend back home. It was a circle with a wave inside. And I used copper again this time. I made 3 of them and I'm planning to put it as a bracelet. Because of my second project that takes so long, I can't finish this project before the semester end. So I still need to work on this next semester even though I'm pretty sure I'm not going to take this exed next semester. But yeah I'll put the final product after I finished it! Adios~
